Paul E. Riffel Tampa Estate Planning Attorney

Estate Planning from Your Living Room

During this pandemic, many people are understandably concerned about mortality. Pandemic or no pandemic, we are all going to die but you can find comfort knowing your family is taken care of and your wishes honored with a good estate plan. Here is a way to obtain a custom drafted estate plan just like you would if you came to my office but without leaving the safety and comfort of your home.

Call me at 813-265-1185 or email me at paul@paulriffel.com and I will send you a will questionnaire for you to complete. Once you have completed this questionnaire, send it back to me by email, mail, fax (813-265-0940) or drop of in my mail slot at my office. Upon receipt, I will call you to discuss customizing an estate plan that works for you.

Generally, an estate plan consists of a will, a health care surrogate, a living will and a power of attorney. Once I have prepared all of these documents for you, I will email them to you for your review. You will call me after your review to discuss any changes that need to be made or with any questions you might have. Once you are completely satisfied, we will email you the finished documents.

There are two options to have the documents executed. First, you may know a notary who can notarize the documents for you. If not, my secretary, for a small fee, will come to your home to execute the documents. In either case, you will need to provide one disinterested witness.

Please do not rely upon online estate planning documents as they do not work in many cases. Estate planning is a complicated process best left to a qualified attorney who can work with you directly. That way, your estate planning documents will accomplish what you desire and save you money and your family heartache. Call us today.
